As the seasons change and we enter the cooler months, we know that the importance of self-care should be a priority for everyone.

We've been loving the dopamine menu trend and thought that some of our bookish friends could use a quick guide to boost your morale through book-related activities.

Our menu begins with appetizers which are small and quick tasks that can be done at any moment when you need a quick pick-me-up. These activities are simple wins for people who might not have the time everyday to do a longer task to improve their mental health.

After your first course, your mains are tasks that might take a bit more time to complete but likely provide you with a bigger happiness result. Mains might be reserved for evenings and weekends, depending on your schedule, but are the "meat & potatoes" of self-care that should be practiced regularly.

We all know that sometimes a side dish is best shared with others at your table - we know you sometimes steal a couple fries from your best friend's plate! Sides are activities and tasks that can be done with friends. It's a two for the price of one spirit uplifting menu item!

Your final course is dessert! These are tasks that should be performed in moderation because they are sometimes more expensive and time consuming activities. They're a bit of indulgence when you need a big dopamine pay off.

And although most of us have the regular dishes that we gravitate to on the menu,  every once in a while there's a special that will catch your eye. For us, the specials are tasks and activities that are infrequent as they take a lot of time and effort to complete.
